Sridhar Vembu was born on 27, Dec 1967 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, his whole family was in farming then after some time his father shifted to Chennai and started working as a stenographer in high court vembu had toped in 12th and got into IIT Madras after achieving 27th rank in Joint Entrance Exam, then he chose electrical engineering.
He aimed to be a scientist or professor after clearing the exam he went to PRINCETON University, where he started his Ph.D. and he cleared.

The time of 1996 Kumar Vembu (Sridar Vembum’s brother) proposed to create their own company their goal was to establish a company in India so that Indians could get employment, They reached Chennai and started a company AdventNet Excellence Matters.

In AdvenNet Excellence Matters they decided to start making hardware like making Big machines and selling them but while making machines their saving was finished and that was the time when the startup was not used to getting funding after this problem they dropped making hardware company and started thinking about a software company.
This brother had technical knowledge of making software and they made software and sold it to a client for $30,000, after getting feedback from the client that they didn’t know the proper way to sell the product they hired a person for sales. Due to a lack of business knowledge in their starting phase, they started staying up with the salesperson and they started adapting their sales skill.
They started the expansion of their team in every field like finance, marketing, and sales and this software company was named Zoho.

Zoho was first registered in India as a cooperation in 2009 and in America, it was previously registered.
In an exhibition, they launched one of their software after launching their software was attracted Japanese clients they were competitors of HP company, and he got his breakthrough her he started making software for a Japanese company, after creating the software for the company he was clear that he need to create software in less amount for small peoples.
In 1998 Vembu got a big order and his company valuation crossed the mark of 1 million dollars after Vembu crossed the mark of 2 million dollars. One day he received an offer for his company acquisition for $25 million, then they declined the offer and never took interest in investors.
In 2000 he was having team member more than 115 and over $10 million in turnover.
