Adani Green Lights Up Rajasthan with 180-MW Solar Power Plant

Adani Green Energy Ltd is an Indian renewable energy company headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. It is owned by the Indian Adani Group. The revenue of the company is around ₹8,633 crore.

The company has 46 operational projects in 11 states of India namely Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.

Adani Green Energy announced the operationalization of a 180-MW solar power plant in Devikot, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The plant, located at Devikot benefits from a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) With Solar Energy Corporation Of India Limited (SECI).

With the new addition, will Soar the portfolio to 6,243 MW and the total operational renewable generation capacity to 9,784 MW, making it India’s largest.

The Plant will be able to generate approximately 540 million units of electricity annually, and capable of providing power to over 1 Lakh+ households and reducing CO2 emissions.

The plant features next-generation bifacial solar PV modules and horizontal single-axis solar trackers to maximize generation through better module efficiency and sun tracking throughout the day.

Today Adani Green Energy has ended at INR 1830.00 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
