Editorial Policy

This page explains how FBScoach decides what to publish, how we check our work, how we handle mistakes and how advertising is kept separate from our reporting.

Our standards

  • Accuracy first. We check names, dates, figures and quotations against public records, company statements, regulatory filings and reputable media before an article goes live.
  • Clear sourcing. Where an article depends on a specific report, filing or announcement, we say so and link to it where possible.
  • Plain language. We explain terms such as valuation, dilution or break-even rather than assuming prior knowledge.
  • Original work. We write our own articles and do not copy text from other publications. Images are used with the right to do so.

Breaking news and rumours

When a story is developing or based on social media claims, we say what is confirmed and what is not. We avoid publishing unverified claims about individuals as fact.

Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong we fix it. Minor errors such as typos are corrected quietly. When a correction changes the meaning of an article, we update the text and show a note about what changed. Articles also show a last-updated date. To report an error, please use our contact page with the article link and the details.

Independence and advertising

FBScoach earns revenue from display advertising, which may include Google AdSense. Advertisers do not review or influence our articles. Sponsored or promotional content, if we publish any, will be clearly labelled as such.

Calculators and tools

Each calculator shows its formula and a worked example so readers can verify the logic. Tools are tested with known values before release and reviewed when tax rules or conventions change. They are planning aids, not professional advice.
