Vedanta Lamba, a high school dropout student, started his journey in 2017 with a youtube channel and now he is big giant in sneakers industry.
After his youtube journey, he found his passion in sneaker industry and turned it into market place "Mainstreet Marketplace".
Despite being 24, lamba's company marketplace.mainstreet now sells 3,000 products, including sneakers, t-shirts, and hoodies, and makes more than Rs 5 crore every month.
Lamba got investment of $2 million from Deepinder Goyal (Zomato), Nikhil Kamath (Zerodha co-founder) and rapper Badshah.
Lamba got celebrities customer like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan johar and Ranveer Singh.
Mainstreet has its offline stores in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi, and plans to open more in upcoming time.
Their revenue in 2023 was Rs 24 crore and plans to make Rs 100 crore in 2024. They includes unique tactics of reselling of sneakers which makes more Business for mainstreet marketplace.
