Thenga Coco is a startup dedicated to make eco-friendly jewellery and products from discarded coconut.

Maria witnessed this discarded coconut used to get burned after its use. Her mission is to create as many as product from coconut shells as possible and empower more women.

Coconut jewellery later turned into expensive items, then maria decide to create practical items like cups, saucers, soap dishes, and cutlery.

After 2 years Thenga Coco, now sells 4,000 to 5,000 coconut shell products every month, generating revenue of approximately Rs 7-8 lakhs, according to India Times news.

Tenga Coco is a profitable business right now, and it is expanding and adding new products to its list.
